CRUJERA, the game that etches

Where current meets the blockchain. A collaborative art project between a master etcher and the players. Our game is part of the TON OPEN CALL.

Alfonso Crujera is a painter, sculptor and printmaker. Professor and researcher of electrolytic etching.

Alfonso doesn’t wait for the future to arrive. He watches where the world is heading and asks himself: how can analog art thrive in the digital age?

The Encounter

At ARTCAN, the NFT Canarias event held in September 2026, Undervan learns about Alfonso’s career: decades of work, a method of his own, manuals that have trained generations. Looking at his legacy, he proposes:

Undervan: What if we turn your creative process into an interactive experience? What if anyone could play at being you, learn your technique and take a piece of your art into the digital world?

Thus CRUJERA, the game that etches is born.

What Is Electrolytic Etching?

Electrochemical etching (electroetching) is a metal etching process that uses direct electric current and an electrolytic solution to selectively dissolve the exposed metal. No dangerous acids.

  • The object to be etched acts as the anode (positive pole)
  • A sacrificial metal acts as the cathode (negative pole)
  • When current is applied, the metal ions dissolve into the solution

In the game, these concepts come to life:

  • The brush — that’s you. You move, run, jump. With every movement you “paint” on the virtual plate
  • The cathode — the target to reach
  • The copper molecules — elements you collect to complete the artwork
CRUJERA gameplay: the brush, the platforms and the copper molecules
Play, run, jump. And without knowing it, you commission a unique artwork from a master etcher.

The Magic

Every playthrough generates:

  • A unique PNG — created from your decisions and movements
  • A technical sheet — with the metadata: voltage, time, technique, collected elements
PNG generated by a CRUJERA playthrough: golden strokes on a black background

That combination of PNG + metadata is what will become an NFT.

And every NFT will have a physical twin: a unique artwork created by Alfonso in his studio, inspired by the data of that specific playthrough.

Collaborative art: the player brings the creative chaos; Alfonso brings the mastery. Together they create something neither could make alone.

Current Status and What We’re Asking TON

What we already haveWhat’s missing to bring it to the blockchain
The game’s website with all metadataTechnical support to mint the NFTs on TON
The artistic concept together with Alfonso CrujeraTelegram integration so millions can play from the app
The PNG + technical sheet generation systemVisibility in the NOTCOIN ecosystem
The backing of an established artistFunding to complete development and launch the first collection

What we offer: a unique use case (analog art + NFT + game + physical artwork), an established artist, a working game and a potential community of collectors, gamers and NFT enthusiasts.

TON Team

We have the vision, the artist and the game. We’re missing the bridge to the blockchain. Will you help us cross it?
